This is why quarantine is a GOOD thing

Looks like the Zombie invasion has been confined to the US and Europe, at least for the time being.

I suspect this is because no self-respecting zombie wants to spend that much time on a plane. It's bad enough when you are alive, I can't imagine what it's like when rigour mortis starts to set in.

If they ever do make it to Australia, I'm not that worried - it's hard to lurch at a decent speed when your body is contorted like a right-angled pretzel. I certainly doubt they could manage the stairs to my apartment.

Still. Perhaps I'll go out and hunt up Shaun of the Dead Zombie killing instructions, just in case. Better safe than sorry, after all.

confused? And yeah, we're a little bit behind in Australia...

Gyah, thank you, for supplying the link so now I know why the hell zombies are running rampant on my flist.

It's probably a good thing that I missed this... I really didn't need to get distracted with zombie fantasies overtaking the uni two days ago. If uni did get infested, where do you think would be the best place to hole up?

[tries to think of the most bunker-like facility on campus]

Maybe it's time to buy a chainsaw.

Luckily for us all such catastrophes tend to start in America. They're a catastrophe magnet for evil and devastation, methinks.

I'd go for the Chem labs, I think. Not really bunker-like, but full of potentially explosive substances :)

That's a great idea, go to the nearest potential weapon. The chem students will finally receive their calling in life; save the uni! That's how *I'd* award them their doctorates.
