Look! Over there! It's an update!
Wow - has it really been that long since I updated this thing? *slaps wrist* Bad Lyore.
Quite a bit has been happening since I last updated - primarily, changing rotations at work. My new job looks like it will be a lot better than my old one - so far I still haven't been given any work (I'm at the reading and trying to catch up with the project stage), but at least the place has technical work which is vaguely in my area of expertise. Oh, and on my first day there I got offered another job. I'm don't think I'm going to take it, but it is nice to be wanted :)
Also work related, one of the other reasons for my absence was the dreaded 'Graduate Familarisation Tour', otherwise affectionately known as 'Grad Camp'. We all survived, but I think the highlight of the tour was playing Star Wars Trivial pursuit on the bus.![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
cloverfizz and I emerged the undisputed victors, and earned the title of 2006's Geekiest Grads. Meh - It's a fair cop.
On-line wise, I've been trying to catch up with people's posts and comments, but forgive me if I've missed something. I've also been distracted by the ongoing shenanigans of the bad penny folks. Ah, those crazy HP BNFs...
I'm also now three episodes behind on Stargate, which I intend to remedy as soon as possible. After all, 200 should be this friday's ep, and from what I've been hearing, I'll need to see that one ASAP, so I can understand what is going on when the fandom implodes.
You know, I had a lot more I wanted to say - two weeks worth of ramblings, at least - but now my mind has gone blank. How odd.
