Self control - Let's count, shall we?

In a bid to take my mind off this lack-of-sleep-causing heatwave (can it please be autumn now?), I went to a bookshop today. To buy one (that would be 1) book. Two bookshops and one hour or so later, I left with 7. Um... Oops?

Still, I now have the next two Temeraire books, which shall keep me occupied for at least one day this weekend. The only question is, do I start reading them now, or do I read through all the 'Why I joined OTW' week posts I have open in my browser?

Hang on... Damn you, Naomi Novik. Stop eating all my spare time!

I went into Big W the other day with the intention of buying paint and came out with 4 books. They are EVIL.

I wish it was autumn too. It was about 40 degrees here today. Again. I think I'm being paid back for last winter when it was so cold and I wished for the warmer weather. What was I thinking?

Big W was the only shop I went into and didn't buy a book from! (Not that I didn't go to the book section, of course *g*)

I keep forgetting to buy the fourth Temeraire book! I'll have to remember to do that tomorrow, when I'm downtown. Thanks for the reminder :P
