Happy 30th Birthday, Star Wars
Well, I couldn't let this day pass without comment, could I?
A couple of Star Wars flavoured links for you:
Death Star Convention Centre. Hopefully their Death Star survives longer than the first two...
Star Wars Fan charged with possessing an unregistered firearm How can a replica of Han Solo's Blaster be an unregistered firearm? It doesn't even fire!
Non-Star Wars related, but a complete classic anyway -
carmarthen's The Trouble with Mad Scientists. Cause it's James Bond vs Velociraptors, and we all need more of that!
And LJ? If you eat this post, any more of my comments, or refuse to load other pages, I'll have
carmathen set her velociraptors on you. Seriously. CUT IT OUT.

Uses this icon 'cause it has a lightsabre in it
I don't have one yet - I'm hoping to pick one up cheap(er) at Supernova (con in Sydney) this year.
Re: Uses this icon 'cause it has a lightsabre in it
I am so jealous! I've never been to a con, oh well, maybe someday!
Re: Uses this icon 'cause it has a lightsabre in it
I go mostly for the merchandising (a couple of the larger comic-n-figurine stores sell their stuff discounted), and to look at all the people wandering around in costume. But last year I did get to go to a panel with Colin Cunningham, which increased my (already strong) love of Major Davies tenfold.
