No Kill Day
Nov. 25th, 2005 11:52 pmI love the drought. Just because the Farmer's are all going broke and no-one will be able to grow/raise any food, there is no reason not to appreciate the good side of the drought. Namely, No Kill Days (because of the lack of sheep).
Which is why I am stretched out on my bed updating this, rather than lugging around bits of meat. We can all guess which I prefer. I'm more than usually annoyed with work anyway - they forgot to pay me. Completely. Not just underpaid, but totally neglected to pay me anything. This is not a job anyone does for the fun of it, people. Take my word for it. And it probably won't be fixed until next pay, which is even more of a pain. Oh well, such is life.
In honour of the No Kill day, I decided not to kill anything all day. All those annoying insects, bugs and flys got a free pass - for one day only.
Other random things about today - When I got up, my Dad was watching 'Murder she wrote'. I sat down on the lounge, and wasn't really paying attention, but then guess who I saw? Ben Browder. Only for a few shots, about 10 seconds total, but he was there. My dad had no clue who he was, but that is because he is completely uneducated in the ways of Farscape.
Couple of questions for you guys - One, how do you pronounce Anastasia? And two, does anyone know who the deputy Prime Minister of Australia is (without looking it up)? I'm drawing a blank and so are the 'rents.
So yes. This post had absolutely no point, except to gloat about the fact that I didn't have to work today.
