Supernatural episode 7

lyoreTimes like these I hate being in Australia. By the time I watch Supernatural and get onto LJ, everyone has already said everything I wanted to say. Although I do want to know how the hell Sam gets out of his room/cell?
It's interesting how completely focused both the brothers are on the supernatural threat, rather than the human one. Priorities, or just confidence that they can get themselves out of this mess, sooner or later? It's something I wish they had explored a little more.
One minor peeve about the episode - I picked the Bad Guy very early on, but spent lost of the rest of the episode wondering how on earth everything fitted together. I know the point was to make it seem like the GotW was the killer, but I think this episode would have been better had it been executed with a little more subtlety (for instance, not having Clare show up directly before they were killed). People (well, me at least) would have still jumped to the same conclusion - that the threat was supernatural - but the ending/plot twist would have seemed a little less contrived.
Confident!Sam was nice, and the confidence that Dean felt in his brother was touching.
Another point that comes to mind - this is the second episode in a row where Dean and Sam spend most of the episode apart. It worked so much better than last week's Jo-fest. (To clarify - I'm not a particularly rabid Jo-hater, but sidelining one of the main characters for an entire episode featuring her is not the way to win me over.)

And did anyone else think that Linda Blair looked like Carrie Fisher, or was it just me?

I didn't feel the apartness so much in this episode, they were communicating even when they were not in the room together.
