POTC: At World's End

lyoreJust got back from seeing POTC: At World's End. All I can say is... Wow. While it isn't a perfect film by any means, it totally redeemed the steaming pile of nothing that was Dead Man's Chest. This was a worthy successor to the first film - filled with insane chaos, betrayal, uncertain loyalties, triple-and-quadruple crossing, action sequences that served the plot instead of the other way around, and most of all, it was fun.
I think I shall have more thinky-thoughts later, especially about Elizabeth, who I think is one of the most interesting female characters in a long time. But sleep first.
Definitely one to watch again - I might even borrow the second movie and rewatch it in the light of this. Hey, it might improve.
