I finally got around to making a new layout. Opinions? I'm still undecided on the colour of the writing - do you think black or grey would work better?
*Yawn* Soo behind on my flist... will try to catch up tomorrow.
The black sides, or the blue middle? The black sides are as close as I can get it, cause the black of the header actually varies all over and is almost impossible to match.
The blue - you may be right, but I couldn't get the entire thing to switch colour schemes, and changing the rest setting by setting was eating up too much valuable sleeping time :) I'm tossing up going for readability over colour matching - I hate reading white text on black backgrounds, so I left it like this until I have time to decide exactly what I want colour-wise. Suggestions?
You may be right about 10 - I was switching back and forth between that crop and a narrower one.
We just discovered that bob_ette's car got broken into, so I suspect we will be spending the morning sorting that out, and the afternoon is all booked up. Are you free on Sunday? We could meet for lunch then...
The blue middle, white on straight black is also hard on my eyes, but if you make the existinf black background a light shade of black you could make the main body much lighter and reader-friendly.
That's awful news about the car, did they get away with anything valuable? Good luck sorting all that out, let us know what happens and Sunday afternoon should be free anytime after 1.
Doesn't look like they actually TOOK anything, which is the weird bit - the stereo is still there, but the change thing was opened to look to for change. They've done something to the steering column though, and now the car doesn't go :(

We'll talk tomorrow, we're having lunch with the family as usual on Sunday, but we'd love to meet for "coffee" (hot chocolate/whatever tickles your fancy) in Civic. How's around 3 for you guys? Ring us up tomorrow and at the very least Mage should answer the phone since she's pretty much the only one home Sunday morning.
