Bored now...
Aug. 17th, 2005 06:48 pmYeah, so ... am trying to put off doing work, could you guess?
I was surfing round the net, and I found a thing for celtic horoscopes, and decided to check it out. Put in my birthday, and clicked go. First line that comes up - "there's no-one quite like you..." Anyone else amused that something which arbitrarily groups people togther based only on their date of birth should start out by asserting our individuality? Me and 1/365th of the population are all unique together, I suppose. (If anyone cares, I turn out to be a maple tree. At least I like maple syrup, which is a start.)
First anonymous comment today - Hello, random person! Do I know you?
On the other hand, everyone else has been slack about updating their jourrnals - you are all far less dedicated to the ancient art of procrastinating than me. Shame on you all. (Or, you all actually have a life...)
Watched all of Doctor Who (procrastinating, remember?) and gotta say - Daleks, not that impressive. Kinda like an oversized version of R2, really. With a squeaky kinda voice, and delusions of grandeur. And ray gun thingies. And shields. And weird glowy ear-things. Well, they still remind me of R2, OK? Still, since they have now all been exterminated (for the second time, from what I can tell) hopefully new villains will be better. And the new Doctor looks like one of my lecturers. Weird.
Still loving season 9 of Stargate. Yay for lots of Daniel. Oh yeah.
Random Observation of the Day - You are one in a million. There are hundreds just like you in China
Thesis Update - 38 pages. Progress! Apparently, my procrastination techniques need some work...

Date: 2005-08-19 02:32 pm (UTC)And yes, procrastination is about the only thing keeping me sane at the moment. Oh well, two weeks and then its all over!!! (Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I'm not sure)
You'll have to let me know what Unleashed was like.

Date: 2005-08-19 03:15 pm (UTC)It had very cute moments in it along with the bone crunching action we've come to expect from Jet Li.
There was an awful lot of bone crunching action though =)
I'd recommend it I'd say
