Work and Stuff

lyoreWell, I've survived my first week of work. Go me. Granted, 4 of the 5 days were induction and training, but still. 1 week done, 40 odd years to go... The early mornings are already killing me.
Of course, we have to use PCs. And, of course, mine doesn't work, so I spend most of friday reading error messages to the IT desk, who finally decided that they couldn't fix it, and had to call someone else. *sigh* Still not fixed, btw. Yay for the public service :)
The office also has a sign on the front door - 'For brownsnake removal from ground floor, call...' Now I'm slightly worried. On the other hand, everyone is very nice (so far), but that may just be because I haven't screwed anything up yet :)
Oh, and I may get to go on a Business Trip (yes, it deserves captials) next week, which would be cool.
Still trying to get internet access at the apartment. At least I've started to sort out who DOESN'T offer broadband in my suburb. Everyone else are basically being complete pains - all I need to know is availability and price, is that so bloody hard?!
But, having nothing else to do, I've made lots of icons, which may be shared at some point.

I don't know what your situation is (and I don't actually know you, so, hey, this is kind of embarrassing) but I'm still looking for somewhere - possibly by the end of this week. If the offer's still open, that is.
