Since I'm procrastinating right now, it's interview meme time.

1) What type of engineering do you do?

I'm a communications and systems engineer, working mainly in high-level systems design. Lots of fun, but sometimes I miss getting down-and-dirty in the details.

2) You're in Australia, right? If someone were to come visit, what should they be sure not to miss?

Oh, that's tough one. I'd say - going to either the true-blue outback, or at least to the bush. But only if they don't mind heat and flys :) And the Great Barrier Reef. Only been there once, but it was spectacular.

And they have to make sure they see a drop-bear :)

3) You've entered a competition where you get stranded somewhere on Earth with one Stargate character and you have 24 hours to get back to SGC to win a prize. Which character do you choose, what one item are you sure to bring and what's the prize?

Umm... toss up between Jack and Daniel. How about Jack if it was in the US, and Daniel anywhere else? I'd bring a mobile with global roaming (boring but practical, and then we could ring the rest of SG-1 for help if we got stuck) and the prize would be Sam Carter's laptop (more computing power than a supercomputer, never dies, and can interface with *anything* as long as you have the right cable *g*)

Well, that's the G rated version, anyway ;)

4) Which stargate planet would you most like to visit? Why?

P3X-774 - the Nox planet. 'Cause the Nox seem pretty amazing, and I'm always disappointed we didn't get to see more of them.

5) What do you see outside your front door?

The door of the apartment across the landing. Very boring.

I *want* her laptop, especially as mine is dead. Although come to think of it, mine died just after I posted this entry. Perhaps I hurt it's feelings by implying I'd prefer Carter's :)
