Wow, I actually beat you on this meme; maybe I just sample without as much conviction. And Angel would have no place on this meme, btw, its science is secondary to its overriding themes of horror and fantasy and usually only extolled by the token geek. Ne'er.

It's not surprising - I don't really do old school sci-fi (not in TV/movie format, anyway), for a variety of reasons.

I agree, this list is a bit wacked out about sci-fi.

But you've never seen original Star Trek? Not even a couple episodes? Wow. Isn't that sci-fi 101? Even if you don't like it, you have to "see" at least a couple, just for cheese factor alone!

I have seen the first 8 or 9 movies, but that's about it (I made a deal with a ST friend of mine - I'd watch the movies if he came with me to the midnight premiere of The Phantom Menance. Yeah, I know, I know... bad deal.)

I really didn't watch sci-fi growing up, since none of my family is into it, and I only really discovered it at 15-16.

Well, I didn't beat you on this... not even close, lol.
This list does seem to be somewhat lacking - slightly oriented towards older series (though I guess a lot fo those have ongoing fanbases which puts them up there)
