Who is Jason Bourne?

I have had a very Bourne weekend. On Friday I went to see The Bourne Ultimatum, which has finally come out here in Oz - and they wonder why Australia has one of the highest rates of downloading in the world. (Very good movie, highly recommended to anyone who hasn't seen it yet.) Today I watched The Bourne Supremacy with cloverfizz, since she hadn't seen it yet. And now I am watching The Bourne Identity, just to complete the set. Yes, I know I'm watching them in reverse - it's just the way it worked out. Besides, I think there is something perversely fitting in watching movies about an amnesiac in the wrong order :)

But the upshot of all this Bourne watching is that I now have Bourne/Torchwood crossover plotbunnies in my head. If only I had more time...

In the midst of all this, I have still found time to go to a housewarming, where I spent most of the time discussing Star Wars, anime and old-school english children's lit, primarily of the Enid Blyton variety. I love my friends :) Oh, and I found the time to squeeze in my fs_rewatch Farscape watching as well, which means I am pretty much up to date with my obligations for the weekend.

Right... back to watching Matt Damon run around and shoot stuff. There are worse ways to spend a Sunday night.

ETA: It's so odd, watching The Bourne Identity and actually recognising places. It adds so much more context to the movie.

I think everyone knows real life issues can get in the way every now and then. And if you give me enough warning, I'd be happy to help out with the occasional episode post, if you like.

I appreciate the offer! I think I'm ok at the moment, I can find the time to watch the eps, its just hard getting motivated to make the posts when the discussion has at times been almost non-existent. Hopefully it will pick up now that the horribleness of season 1 is over.

I'll periodically be watching movies or TV shows and I'll recognize places I know. It even happened once with a webcomic! I find it just makes everything sillier - how am I supposed to take the top seekrit base that shoots lasers seriously why I know it's an IMAX theatre and that they're trying to break in through the exit?

I've been so bad with Farscape rewatch. I comment almost every episode, but I think I've only actually re-watched one. So missing the point, especially as discussion is so slow!

Yes, I suppose that would make it a little difficult *g*. Guess I'm lucky to live in an extremely boring town where nothing is ever filmed, so it isn't usually an issue for me.

I've rewatched the last few - and we're starting to get up to my favourite episodes!
