Labour has the majority in the lower house, with a massive swing. Howard is gone. And it's looking likely he's going to lose his seat - only the second time in Australian history the PM hasn't won in his electorate.

Date: 2007-11-24 01:39 pm (UTC)Sometimes I really think that its Julia Gillard running the Labor party, not Rudd, she just didnt have the votes to get her in as leader of the opposition at the time. I like her, so aside from the *fantastic* fact of Howard being GONE, the rest of the result is pretty ok too. But I guess we'll see how it goes. Things cant get any worse, can they? LOL.
