HELP! (Amazon.com)
May. 10th, 2006 06:40 pmOK guys, I need to know if anyone has tried to contact Amazon.com recently. I've got an order that's more than 2 weeks overdue (from the latest estimated date), and when I try and send them an email through their 'Contact Us' form, it keeps saying something along the lines of 'fix the area indicated below', and refusing to send.
Only problem is, there AREN'T any areas indicated below, and not matter what I do, it keeps saying the SAME DAMN THING. I've tried it on the work computers as well (which are Windows machines, using IE), so I don't think it's a browser/mac problem. Am I just missing something incredibly obvious? Has this happened to anyone else?
This form seems to be the only way to contact them, since the 'Leave a number and we'll call you' thing doesn't work for anyone outside America. Since this is Amazon, they don't have a customer service number. I did find a few numbers on the net, but frankly, given that this would be a rather expensive, and almost certainly very long, international call, I'm wondering if I should just cut my losses.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Needless to say, unless this order miraculously turns up overnight, it's doubtful I'll be ordering from Amazon again any time soon :(

Date: 2006-06-15 07:35 am (UTC)Thanks - I don't think I tried using Firefox - I generally use Safari (yes - I'm a mac girl), and I know I tried IE. I'll keep it in mind for the future, but I was serious about looking for other places to get my American DVDs from. Once burnt, twice shy, and all that. And yes, it is crap.
I hope you get your problem sorted out, anyway. And your icon (and Nine) rocks :)
